Legal Extra: Business law firm's biannual seminar

Business law firm Baines Wilson LLP is holding their biannual seminar to update employers on burning employment law issues relevant to businesses.

Employment Law specialists Joanne Holborn, pictured Adrian Maitra and Tom Scaife will cut through the latest red tape and explore recent changes and developments in employment law.

The Agency Workers Regulations come into force, which give ‘day one’ rights to agency workers and which any business engaging an agency worker needs to be aware of. Managing absence remains an issue for employers and therefore we shall be examining how to deal with difficult cases. There have also been a number of important decisions in the courts and employment tribunals and we will provide a comprehensive update for employers.”
