CFHS Summer Show

The Cumberland Farmers’ Hunt (South) Branch of the Pony Club held a very successful summer show on the show field at Brougham, Penrith last weekend.  It was well attended by CFHS Branch Members and Pony Club Members from neighbouring Branches in Cumbria and the Scottish Borders.  The highlight of the day was a team competition, named this year “The CFHS Olympics” in which random teams of four were drawn from all competitors and the teams had to work together and support one-another across a range of disciplines: show jumping, handy hunter and equitation. 

The winning team was presented with the Sarah Pearson Memorial Trophy and medals were presented for Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.  CFHS is very grateful for the voluntary support of our judges, helpers, parents and members who all ensured the day ran smoothly.
