Following the successful move to larger premises last year, the Eden Valley Poultry Club annual show has now been made a Championship Level event.
The 38th annual Show will be held for the second year at Penrith Auction Mart under Poultry Club rules on October 7, 2012.
The show is open to anyone in the British Isles. Last year entries came from as far away as Scarborough in North Yorkshire, Cheltenham and many from over the Scottish border.
Secretary of the show, Rosie Addison said: “Eden Valley Poultry Club’s annual show is going from strength to strength.
“As well as now being a Championship Level Rode Island Red Regional Show, this year will also include the British Belgium Bantam Club Area Show.”
Judging will begin at 9.45am. The show will be open to the public after judging has been completed in the afternoon, entry £1.50 including catalogue, children free.
