Penrith’s own Olympic Games Maker relives her journey for business women’s group

A meeting of the Penrith Rural Women in Business Network Group heard first hand from one of its members who was an “Olympic Games Maker”, giving all present the chance to relive the Olympics. Ali Turnbull from Fit-To-Print came dressed for the occasion in her uniform and regaled her life at the games with examples of the questions regularly asked, pictures that demonstrated the scale and excellent organisation as well as her own personal highlights.

Ladies present were carried along Ali’s Olympic journey with humour and stories that made everyone feel part of the experience. For those like Annie Weir who attended the games, it was a moment to relive the experience, and for those that could not attend – it was an opportunity to get a glimpse of the passion and excitement of the games.

The next meeting is on Wednesday 24th October at Abbott Lodge Jersey Ice Cream Farm, Clifton 7.30pm when speaker will be Catherine Eve from Core Training will host an interactive session talking about goal setting for your future and the future of your business. Anyone interested in attending can contact Tracey Errington on 01768 895 964 or email tracey@marketsense.net
