A woman was trapped after the car she was travelling in crashed on the A66 at Troutbeck at around 10.46am on Friday, December 9.
Firefighters with two appliances from Penrith and Keswick, together with Watch Manager Graham and Group Manager Smith attended a road traffic collision on the A66 at Troutbeck.
The incident involved one vehicle with one female casualty trapped. The casualty was released by Fire Service using Holmatro equipment, glass saw, wedges and chocks and then taken to hospital by Ambulance.
