Cockermouth Mountain rescue team sent out 24 volunteer members to assist a woman reported with a fractured ankle in Modedale by Melbreak. The call came at 1.02pm on Saturday, January 7.
The casualty transported by the team vehicle to land ambulance at Kirkstile, for onward transport to West Cumberland Hospital.
