Kendal climber plunges 50ft. on Snowdon

A climber from Kendal was airlifted to hospital with a broken ankle after falling  50ft (15m) on Snowdon. The woman, who was with other climbers, was roping on a cliff in an area known as Parson's Nose. A Sea King helicopter based at Valley in Anglesey flew members of Llanberis Mountain Rescue team to the bottom of the cliff to assist in the rescue. She was airlifted to hospital in Bangor, Gwynedd.
