Farms across Eden will be opening their gates to the public today Sunday, June 13 for the annual, national Open Farm Sunday event.
The day offers visitors a great day out, and an opportunity to meet the farmers who grow their food and care for the countryside.
Caroline Drummond, Chief Executive of LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming), organiser of Open Farm Sunday said: “This is a day out with a real difference. Whatever you do at an Open Farm Sunday event on Sunday 13 June, it is a great chance to take in some stunning scenery and enjoy the country air. You will really get to know how your food is produced and maybe even taste some, all whilst finding out how the countryside around you is cared for.”
