Top end boutique B&B accommodation, A Corner of Eden, has played host to its second photo shoot for international fashion giant Sockshop, and is now getting used to pampering the rich and famous.
Last summer Sockshop used A Corner of Eden to showcase three high end fashion brands, including ELLE magazine and recently came back for more to promote a new range from Heat Holders.
Second time round, Angel Barn, A Corner of Eden’s newly converted eco self-catering barn, was chosen to shoot images to show off the new collection for Heat Holders the ultimate in thermal socks, which can be seen at http://heatholders.co.uk/. The range was modelled by Graham Bell 5x Olympic Skier, Emma Jesson ITV Weather Girl and Craig Phillips TV DIY Celebrity.
Ian Stephens Managing Director of Cumbria Tourism said: “The fact that Sock Shop have come back to the Eden Valley for a second photo shoot clearly shows that the combination of stunning scenery, contemporary locations and a warm Cumbrian welcome have paid dividends. This type of photo shoot is a perfect advert for what Cumbria is about and the quality visitors can expect.’’
One of the celebrities involved in the photo shoot was ITV’s weather presenter, Emma Jesson said: "From the moment I arrived at Angel Barn, the stresses of the day melted away. Just to stand in the tranquil surroundings and drink in the stunning countryside around us was a gift in itself, but Debbie's warm welcome and delicious home-cooked lunch were the icing on the cake. Angel Barn is a wonderful setting to celebrate any occasion with special friends; a glorious traditional atmosphere. It can be whatever you want it to be... A romantic retreat or a terrific private party location. I can't wait to return!"
Debbie Temple, the owner A Corner of Eden said: “We were delighted that the Sock Shop chose to return to Angel Barn to showcase the new lines from Heat Holders. Photographer Rick Schofield made great use of the cosy interiors of the Barn as backdrops to take Christmas themed shots of Craig Philips, Emma Jesson & Graham Bell”
She added: “Outside in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside our Border Terriers Max and Cassie were very excited to have their photo taken with the stars and loved being part of the shoot”.
