South Lakes MP Tim Farron will be one of those debating the burning issues of the day on the BBC's flagship current affairs television programme Question Time this Thursday.
He will join Baroness Warsi and shadow home secretary Yvette Cooper on the panel. Chaired by David Dimbleby, the programme will be broadcast from Leeds University on BBC One at 10.35pm.
This is the MP's second time on the show, having appeared in September 2011 alongside Housing Secretary Grant Shapps and Labour’s Caroline Flint.
He said: "I'm really looking forward to going on Question Time. Fielding questions from the audience means you get lively and spontaneous debate. I look forward to talking about the issues that people raise and will be working hard to give as many plugs to the South Lakes as possible!"
