Medication lost in Barrow

Police have been informed that a large quantity of medication was lost in Barrow this afternoon between Lesh Lane and Risedale Road. The medication was lost between 2pm and 4pm this afternoon and includes methodone and sleeping tablets. These drugs could cause harm if they are taken by people who do not medically require them.

Police are urging anyone who may find medication that does not belong to them to take it to their nearest police station or pharmacy.
