Police appeal: Do you recognise this man?

Police in Carlisle have released CCTV of a man they are wanting to speak in connection with a car theft that occurred last month. Between 12.20am and 1.30am on Friday 13th July 2012, a  silver Hyundai with Riverside Recruitment Livery displayed on both sides of the vehicle was stolen from outside Riverside recruitment on Warwick Road.

The vehicle was located the following day, opposite the Embassy Ballroom in Cummersdale. Fortunately it was not damaged.

It is believed that the offender was male and was wearing a dark hooded top with the hood up which had a small emblem on the top of the hood. It is believed he had a scarf over his face, dark tracksuit bottoms and possibly Nike trainers with high vis strips down the laces.  He was also believed to be carrying a claw hammer.
