Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish are due to ride through Cumbria ltoday in the Tour of Britain. The race began in Ipswich on Sunday and stage four runs 97 miles from Carlisle to Blackpool. Mark Cavendish won a sprint finish to take Tuesday's stage three.
The race starts in Carlisle at 11:00 BST, passing the castle and heading south onto the A6 and through Penrith. The first sprint is in Shap, followed by the first King of the Mountains climb at Shap Fell.
The route then goes through Kendal, Oxenholme and Kirkby Lonsdale before moving into Lancashire and to Caton for the final sprint. The day finishes at about 14:30 BST in Blackpool, within site of the town's famous tower.
