With 18 years experience in the design, manufacture and installation of LED lighting systems, they have a wide-ranging client base covering diverse projects from residential to retail, workplace to entertainment, public sector buildings to passenger terminals. NJO has considerable in-house engineering expertise and also work with a wide range of materials and finishes.
Vince Cable toured NJO with Tim Farron and Peter Thornton, Leader of South Lakeland District Council, meeting with the staff and learning more about their design and production methods.
The MP said: “I’m really pleased that Vince Cable was able to visit our area. We have a brilliant record of entrepreneurism here in the South Lakes and wonderful examples of successful businesses. NJO Technology is a great example of this, designing and making their products right here in Kendal. I will continue to do everything I can to promote and support our local businesses as part of my campaign to bring more well paid jobs to the South Lakes.”
