07791 639 196 | WebsitePolice in Barrow are investigation a serious assault which occurred on Mosley Street, Barrow-in-Furness between 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm on Saturday 11th August. The victim, in his early 20’s, suffered a head injury after being assaulted on Mosley Street, towards the Foundry Street.
The suspects were part of a larger group of about six to seven people, who were predominately men, all described in their late teens.
The build-up to the incident stared with an exchange on New Street, which continued on Mosley Street.
Detectives investigating the incident describe how a number of witnesses have already come forward but appeal to anyone else who may have been in the vicinity of New Street or Mosley Street at about 9:45 pm onwards to get in contact. Any information could be vital in the investigation.
